Did you say listening?

Hello, this is my first Academic-bookstation blog, and I want to talk about listening.

Are you listening? What are the best easy ways to listen at all time?

Before I dive into the matter,  I need to explain the concept of active listening. Listening is paying attention to other human beings. So, do you think you're a listening man or woman?

Listening is a skill and you mustn't neglect it. I'm still working at it daily and intentionally. Moreover, I gain a lot when I pay attention to the speaker than  jumping in their throat while they're talking.

Most of us practice bad listening habits, and to get active listening skill.means you apply habits of good listening. A synonym for listening is" hearkening to".

There're different types of listening.

✓ Comprehensive listening

✓ Critical listening

✓ Easy listening

✓ Deep listening

✓ Defensive listening

✓Diaholic listening

Likewise, there're factors that makes listening difficult for people. I'll give you few of them.

• Daydreaming: this happens when you occupy your mind with fantasies and fallacies when somebody is talking to you. On other words, you're present but mentally absent.

• Limited perception: it could be your sense organs mat be the problem. For instance, ear problems may interpret what the other person says into your ears.

• Negatt attitude: a lack on interest in the subject matter.

• Physical discomfort: your physical environment can have a significant impact on your mental, aesthetic and natural stance. For instance, noise,poor ventilation etc.

Overall, apply habits of good listening.

Listen for meaning in the other fellow words. Don't let personal bias stand between you and the information the other fellow  can give you.

If the person loojsx let me your Great Uncle Rogers who left quarter of a million to his ginger cat, and a cent to you, don't let it interfere with your paying attention.
